Some New Soaps Now Available

Summer is such a busy time, and it has been awhile since I’ve done a blog post.  I’ve been doing the markets, plus every once in  awhile, my husband and I like to get away in our travel trailer.  Also, I’m going to be taking a course, learning how to build and maintain my own website.  I’m so excited about this, plus in the long run, will save me quite a bit of money.  I can pay myself, instead of someone else.

I have made some remakes, with a different look, plus some new cakes and cupcakes, that are not quite ready yet, but I will be posting pictures of them soon.

New is Lavender Rosemary.  This one is all natural, and scented with Lavender and Rosemary essential oils.  It has a beautiful floral yet earthly scent, that I find quite calming.

Also new is Starry Nights.  This one  has top notes of jasmine, lemon and rum; middle notes of pungent lilac, rose, cedarwood, and balsam, with a creamy base of vanilla. This complex fragrance combines over a dozen different aromas to create an unique fragrance blend of spice, floral, citrus and earth tones. Even with all of these scent combinations, this is not a strongly scented soap, but a nice mild scent.

And lastly, this one is not new, but has a new look.  Black Linen and Amber.

Today, I made some embeds, that will be going into some new fall and winter soaps.  Well I hope you like these ones.  More to come soon.

On the Curing Rack

So as I  have said in my past posts, I am really busy right now replenishing my soap stock, plus adding in new stock.  Rather than bore you and show you everything I have made recently here are some new soaps that are on the curing rack and ready to be put on the website soon.

This soap is made with Coconut Milk & Activated Charcoal, which is said to help detoxify and cleanse the skin.  I also added Australian Ivory Clay, which is a very genlte clay that helps to draw impurities from the skin.  This soap is scented with essential oils of  Lemongrass, Tea Tree and Lavender. It is not recommended using a wash cloth with this soap, as it could stain.

The next new soap I have recently made is Sensitive Skin Oatmeal Soap.  Designed for the very young and the elderly or anyone with sensitive skin.  Made with Organic Sunflower Oil and Organic Cocoa Butter this soap is mild and gentle.  Oatmeal is soothing to the skin.

Another new soap, and I personally love the scent on this one, is Blushing Lavender.  Scented with Ylang Ylang and Lavender.  A really nice floral.

The Tea Tree Soap should be up on the website next week.  The other two towards the end of the month.  There are more new soaps made, plus a soap and solid sugar scrub in one bar, and other goodies that will all be available soon. 🙂

More Remakes and New “Cranberry Orange Spice”

In just a couple of weeks, my busy season will start.  So I want to have plenty of stock on hand.  Yesterday I made 4 more batches of soap.  First is “Spicy Patchouli”.  This is a very popular soap if you are a Patchouli lover.  It’s a blend of patchouli, orange, clove and cinnamon.  It’s a scrubby type of soap as Poppy Seeds are laced through out.

The next soap I made is also a remake “Lavender & Chamomile”.  This is a mild scented soap.  Very spa like.  The design is a little different this time, and I think I like this design much better.

Lavender & Chamomile Jojoba Oil Soap

Cedar & Saffron is another remake.  I personally love the scent of this soap, although it is a men’s fragrance.  It’s like outdoor wood and something soft and sensual.  Anyway I really like it.

And the last soap is “Cranberry Orange Spice”.  There is just a hint of spice in this one.  My nose picks out the cranberry right away, followed by the orange and just a hint of spice.  It is made with Neem Oil, so if you have problem skin this may be helpful.

These will all be available for purchase on our website or at craft shows November 12th, 2012.

May Chang

May Chang – A wonderful blend of Orange, Lavender, Rosemary and Litsea Essential Oils. This one had a definite Lemon scent with hints of Lavender in the background.  Calendula petals have been added for their soothing effect on the skin and to give it just a little exfoliation, I added Apricot Kernel Meal.  This is on the bottom of the soap.  Organic Cocoa Butter and Sweet Almond Oil, give this soap a nice creamy lather that is also moisturizing.  This is one of our New soaps for the Fall and Winter line up.  Hope you like it :)!
